We need to open our eyes to our truth, but it is almost impossible to do it – unless our truth is convenient for us. Why? Because most of the time it is not what we want.
We prefer creating and following this “parallel” way of living between our truth and the story we want to tell ourselves to satisfy our Ego. Do you know when you are living your truth? Do you recognise when you are pleasing your Ego?
“The Ego is not who you really are. The Ego is your self-image; it is your social mask; it is the role you are playing. Your social mask thriving on approval. It wants to control, and it is sustained by power because it lives in fear” Deepak Chopra.
I guess life always gives us a sign in response to our feelings, thoughts, and attitudes. From the bottom of our hearts, we know that there is a light that flashes red when things are going in the opposite direction of our truth.
Worth remembering that there are no wrong choices because the lesson you must learn will find a way to meet you in whatever direction you go.
The point I am trying to make is that knowing our truth will always help us to move along peacefully. We are here to learn, to evolve, but more than all that, to be happy. Happiness should be our main goal.
Unfortunately, we all look for happiness outside ourselves – we mainly hope that material things will bring us comfort and peace.
The best way to find inner peace is getting to know ourselves, learning with every experience that life brings to us. Every day is a new opportunity to improve ourselves as human being.
Living in denial in relation to our truth will delay our journey to a happy life and it will make us suffer. The pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.
Experience our best feelings and accepting the not so good ones is the commencement of a battle against our Ego. We must be alert and open to absorb the lessons life is trying to teach us. If you feel it is painful, it is actually a positive sign. It means something is going against your truth, your inner wisdom.
The more you know yourself the more tools you have to fight against unwanted feelings like anger, pride, envy, hatred. We are here exactly for this reason, to minimise and extinguish these feelings that tie our progress.
The Superior Intelligence or God (whatever you decide to call it) lives and exists in an imaginable high frequency of love, which is not compatible with those feelings. So, in order to be happy and live peacefully, you must tune your energy frequency to His/Its.
People are also good “tools” that help us to evolve. I know as well that we tend to outsource our responsibility, but the law is clear: “You are responsible for everything that happens to you with no exception”. We really need to meditate about this law in a way that we remember it before acting or reacting to a situation.
Remember you are going to respond to your own actions. So, using excuses like “he made me do it” or “she made me nervous” or “they force me to react like that” is not acceptable or coherent. You are the only one that can answer for yourself and change your life. So, when you take responsibility, you are also healing others because we must remember we are all one.
I cannot t emphasise enough how important is to face yourself and let all the light and shadow come up and face them, get to know them, experience how they make you feel, what can you learn from it with no judgment – let it be.
The closer you are to your truth the easier it will be to tune in with the highest energy frequency of love and light.
