The “Gospel at Home” is a simple and meaningful Spiritist practice, based on the teachings of Allan Kardec.
It is a weekly time for reflection, prayer, and spiritual harmony at home.

Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Choose a Regular Day and Time
Select one day of the week and keep it consistent. This regularity helps create a beneficial spiritual routine.
2. Prepare the Environment
Gather family members or anyone who wishes to participate. The setting should be calm and respectful. You may place a glass of water on the table, which is believed to be spiritually energised during the meeting.
3. Opening Prayer
Begin with a simple and sincere prayer, asking for the presence and guidance of good spirits.
4. Reading
Read a short passage from The Gospel According to Spiritism or another Spiritist book. The reading should be done calmly and clearly.
5. Reflection and Discussion
Briefly reflect on the message. Participants may share their thoughts and how the teaching can be applied in daily life. Keep the discussion respectful and focused.
6. Vibration (Sending Good Thoughts)
Mentally direct positive thoughts, prayers, or good wishes to loved ones, those in need, or even to humanity as a whole.
7. Closing Prayer
End with a prayer of gratitude, thanking for the guidance and protection received.
8. Conclude Naturally
After the meeting, the water may be shared among participants. Maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
Additional Notes:
-
Keep the meeting simple and not too long (around 10–30 minutes).
-
Avoid distractions such as mobile phones or television.
-
Consistency and sincerity are more important than formality.
-
It is perfectly fine to practise the Gospel at Home on your own, for example if you live alone.
