What have you been doing to manage your fears?

How challenging is it to fight against ourselves? It's frightening and distressing to confront the amount of belief we've created in different circumstances because of fear. I don't know about you, but whenever I face a challenge like that, I just want to run. Why is it so difficult to do what needs to be done?


Have you realised that when you really want something, you go and get it? There are no obstacles that you can't overcome. When you are determined, you just do what has to be done. No moaning. No excuses. On the other hand, when you don't want to do something, there is no one in the universe that can make you do it.


Fear is a mechanism of self-defense but also a weapon of destruction. As you know, everything is energy, and fear interferes directly with the immune system. I guess we have feared a lot lately due to the current circumstances that human beings are facing.


There is an element of anger as well as frustration. You know what you need to do; you know that if you want different results, you need to start doing things differently, but there is something holding you back, and it is so strong that it sometimes suffocates you.


The only way of getting through your fears and insecurity is to do what needs to be done, even if you fear the next step. The change won’t come if you continue to find excuses and continue to blame other people, other things, or even the universe. I am telling you, the struggle is real, but you must remember that if you want to change, it is because you are not happy at this present moment. If you realise that the answer you are looking for lies in the change that you are avoiding, you will find that inner power that resides in you and you will move forward.


We must remember there is no right or wrong but an opportunity to learn. The path you choose will eventually bring you to the lesson you must learn. There is no escape. We are all capable of doing anything we put our mind to. There is no such thing as willpower and self-knowledge.


The only way to improve self-knowledge is to challenge yourself regarding your fears and beliefs. You must remember that we are here to move forward and evolve. This is not an option. You will have to accomplish it eventually.


Another important thing to consider is that perhaps if you remind yourself that you are just like a student living on Earth to learn and improve and that you won’t get everything right, you are putting yourself in a humble position which will help you to deal with frustration and disappointment.


So next time you face a challenge, repeat to yourself that you have everything you need to overcome the challenge. You are going to do your best within the present moment with the tools and power that you currently hold. Keep moving forward and believing. Practicing faith will also give you the strength you need. Keep trying. You will get there
